David's review
My first visit for lunch today and I was immediately struck by the apparently unspoilt nature of this town centre boozer. A few small rooms, the television restricted to the bar, and everything clean and tidy.
Ringwood Fortyniner was our chosen ale which slipped down very well and my discerning wife alternated between J2O and coffee. The coffee must have been good because she commented favourably upon it. Our lunch was modestly-priced, well-served and nutritious and, speaking for myself, the ham, egg, chips and beans tasted delicious.
