I absolutely love this gorgeous café bar spa! I've been here for both morning coffee and lunch. The sandwiches are super-filling, great coffee, delicious cakes and lovely staff. Beautiful building. I returned for evening drinks with a friend- this makes a cool and sophisticated place to kick back away from the noisy clubby hubbub. They also have live music too on occasion. The spa. Well, its in its early infancy right now but that didn't impinge on the absolutely amazing salt scrub treatment. I will be treating myself here regularly!

Have been to this gorgeous cafe numerous times since it opened and have never been let down. Scrumptious cakes if you're after morning coffee or afternoon tea and delicious sandwiches if you're wanting lunch. My favourite is the bacon, Brie and cranberry with sweet potato fries. Beautiful setting and so welcoming to everyone. Pop in and try it.

Tucked away at the top of the old welsh chapel this cafe is well worth a visit. Lots of great views if you manage to get near the windows and the converted chapel setting is lovely. The highlight was the huge slices of homemade cakes - neither I nor my friend could finish ours! Lots of the cakes were gluten free.

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch at st Nicholas and the cakes are to die for! Spacious seating area perfect for pushchair and excellent baby facilities where breastfeeding can be done without feeling overlooked or uncomfortable.
Definitely worth a visit!

My wife loves this place, goes every week with other Mums and babies. I got dragged along last weekend because she seems to be addicted to the hot chocolate and I was very impressed, served a 'proper' sandwich, will be returning regularly.

This cafe has great potential: the ambience on the second floor is striking, with lovely carved Victorian pillars, and the portions of good cake are indeed generous.
